HOURLY EXCEPTIONAL FORMAT

The Hourly Exceptional format will have as its detail, a matrix of the day and hour for each given month. Hours, going from 0000 to 1100 in one row (AM), then a second row (PM) ranging from hour 1200 to 2300 will represent the columns, while the days of the month will comprise the rows. At the end of each row the total number of observations and the mean value for that day. At the bottom of each column will be the total number of values, the maximum value and the mean value for each hour, separated into to groups- AM and PM.

The hourly Exceptional format is used when:

· the duration code is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or B,

· there is exceptional data for the monitor-month being reported

The Hourly and Hourly Exceptional headers display the month/year being reported. The Daily Reported and Weekly headers display the year being reported. For the other formats, month and year information is displayed as detail in the matrix ( Monthly and Composite formats), or as column headers for the matrix (Daily Standard).

 

For the hourly formats, if more than one methodology was used in a month, all data for that month are presented in the same month matrix, and no methodology information is displayed in the header.
