MAINTAIN SITE OPEN PATHS

The Maintain Site Open Paths tab allows you to insert or update production open path data associated with the Site record that you selected in the Maintain Basic Site Data window. All existing Open Path records are displayed when the window is opened. To display a specific open path or group of open path records associated with the current site press the image\enq.gif<Enter Query> key and enter your selection criteria. Pressing the image\exq.gif<Execute Query> key will display the specific Open Path records.

Use the image\prr.gif<Previous Record> (Up arrow) and image\ner.gif<Next Record> (Down arrow) keys to scroll through the records you have queried.

Open Path data can be inserted or updated in this module. Open Path data is deleted through batch submittal.

To return to the Maintain Basic Site Data window click on that tab.

This component consists of the following fields:

Open Path No

This is a numeric identifier for the individual open path. It is unique within a site.

Land Use Type

A description of the prevalent land use within 1/4 mile of a site.

Direction to Transmitter

A code that indicates the general direction from one location to another.

Beam Length

The length of the projected beam between the transmitter and the receiver, in meters.

Min Beam Height

The height of the beam (at the lowest point from the ground) being projected between the receiver and the transmitter, in meters. Must be less than Max Beam Height.

Max Beam Height

The height of the beam (at the highest point from the ground) being projected between the receiver and the transmitter, in meters. Must be greater than Min Beam Height.

Transmitter Height

The height above ground of the open path monitoring transmitter, in meters. Must be between or equal to Min and Max Beam height.

Receiver Height

This is the height above ground of the open path monitoring receiver, in meters. Must be between or equal to Min and Max Beam height.
