Exclusion Standard ID

Description

A number corresponding to a particular Pollutant Standard (or NAAQS, National Ambient Air Quality Standard). More speficially, the particular set of calculation rules used to determine summaries, including design values. This is dependent on the pollutant, the year the standard was promulgated, and the averaging time (e.g., duration). If the monitor is to be excluded from all standards, this field should be left NULL.

Business Rules

When submitted on the MX Transaction:

Must be a valid AQS Pollutant Standard ID.

The Pollutant Standard ID must be marked as “Excludable” within AQS.

A monitor cannot be simultaneously assigned as SLAMS and excluded from all applicable standards.

A single monitor cannot have exclusions for both specified and unspecified standards, even if the time periods do not overlap.

Enter a single Pollutant Standard ID to exclude the monitor from that standard. Enter NULL to exclude the monitor from all NAAQS standards.
