MX - Monitor NAAQS Exclusion¶
The purpose of this transaction is to enable a monitor to be categorized as non-regulatory, i.e. have its data excluded from NAAQS calculations performed by AQS.
Previously, this tagging ability was implemented via a Monitor Type code of “NON-REGULATORY” (and prior to that, of “SPECIAL PURPOSE”). Monitor types have been revised, and now only the Monitor Exclusions indicator is used to determine if data from a monitor is to be excluded from regulatory data summaries.
Examples:
MX|I|06|105|0002|88101|1||20110818|20130806|Special Purpose Monitor, 24 months
