Measurement Uncertainty

Description

The total measurement uncertainty associated with a reported measurement as indicated by the reporting agency. This includes method uncertainty, both the analytical and the volume uncertainty. No blank corrections are assumed (other than laboratory baseline corrections which are an integral part of each analysis). Uncertainty should be reported in the same units of measure as the Sample Value.

Business Rules

Must be a positive integer.

Must not include more than 6 digits before the decimal point and no more than 4 digits after the decimal point.

Only allowed if Sample Value is also reported.
