Reported Sample Value

Description

The sample value as reported by the submitter. This may not be in the standard units for the parameter.

Business Rules

Required when submitting samlpe or composite data with no Null Reason Code.

Not allowed when submitting Sample Values when the Null Reason Code is valued.

May not contain more than 5 digits before the decimal point and more than 5 digits after the decimal point.

For Sample Data, every method has upper and lower limits have been established for reported sample value. These limits are on the AQS Sampling Methodologies table. If the submitted value (after conversion to standard units) fall outside of this range and is not submitted with a qualifier, the value will be accedpted and noted on the Statistical and Critical Review report (e.g., there will be a warning).

For composite data, absolute upper and lower limits have been established for reported sample value. These limits are on the AQS Parameters table. If the submitted value (after conversion to standard units) fall outside of this range, the value will be rejected with an error message.
